1. Subject: 2007 PKUAA-NC annual BBQ party on 10/28/2007

Dear PKU alumni,

PKUAA-NC will have an annual picnic party / family fun day on Sunday,
10/28/2007.   You, your family and your friends are cordially invited to
attend this annual party.   PKUAA-NC will prepare the food and drink.
You are also welcome to bring your own dishes for share.  You are
encouraged to bring your cards, volleyballs, frisbees and soccer.   You
can do other outdoor activities such as fishing, boating, sailing, and
hiking there too. We will have a lot of fun besides meeting new and old
alumni and friends at NC.

To make the BBQ party preparation easy and successful, please register
your participation. The deadline for the registration is 10/26/2007.

2.  中国科学院面向海外招聘科技人才 (2007 年4月18日晚,6pm-9pm)

Dear Alumni and Friends,

There will be a job fair to recruit Chinese professionals from Chinese Academy of Sciences (中国科学院面向海外招聘科技人才) in RTP on April 18, 2007.   Due to the delay of getting visa to the USA, this event has been rescheduled on April 18, 2007. This change has been confirmed, and delegation will come to RTP on schedule. We are sorry for the delay.   If you have already registered on line, your registration is still valid (You don't need to register again). If you have not, please do so as soon as you can so since the seating is limited and we expect big crowd. Please note that the deadline for on line registration is April 15, 2007.
